As we were riding back from the USC/Alabama game last night with my parents the hubs was talking about his best friend being overseas. My mom asked when he's supposed to come home. The hubs said "Well, the skuttlebutt is..."
Skuttlebutt?
Of course I had to ask what that meant and he explained it's another way of saying rumor mill.
Skuttlebutt...skuttlebutt...why does that seem so familiar?
Oh! The seagull in The Little Mermaid is named Skuttle.
OH! OH! Holy crap I now get why they gave him the name Skuttle! He constantly gossips during the movie to Ariel.
Those clever Disney movie makers.

ReplyDeleteHaha, I LOVE The Little Mermaid. I'm a ZTA and the writers have ALL of our symbols and everything throughout the movie. Most of the Disney movies have hidden things and connections to make. I love how different it is to watch one as an adult!
