just another day in tiger town

After walking around downtown Clemson, the hubs and I went for some grub at Firehouse Subs. We got the seats looking out the window.

Perfect for people watching.

We noticed a group of 3 big guys and 1 tiny girl walk up, but the girl kept going while the guys came inside to order.

Hubs: Oooo she just dissed them. I bet she said, "bitch please...I'm not eating that. I'm gonna go get a pita and maintain my anorexic figure!!"

Me: *blank stare*

Hubs: What? It sounds better than what she actually said.

About five minutes pass. The girl walks in with a pita wrap.

Hubs: Told ya... *smiley face*

End scene.

world market

I had my very first encounter with a World Market this past weekend.

Ohh Emm Gee! Holy cuteness batman. I wanted everything in that store. I restrained myself and kept it down to just few things.

pashmina (I brought home the purple version, of course)

fun red knobs for our desk (which was currently missing two out of the six)

we've had the glass drink dispenser since we've been married, but soon realized we should have picked one that came with a stand...ta-da! I found a stand that fit for $5

I adore this child's picnic set and think it would be perfect for my niece

I'm also trying to convince the hubs how perfect this dining room table would be for us

I'm already planning to go back to pick up a few things for our Thanksgiving party. Can't wait!

south carolina state fair, smile city!

While the slogan for this year's fair is a bit on the lame side, we still had plenty of fun. We met up with Bryan and Jessica to enjoy the sights and the oh-so-yummy but oh-so-bad-for-you food.

it's become our tradition now haha

how could I pass up a picture of the boys on footsie wootsies?

halloween

Want to know a secret? I don't like Halloween. I'd be totally ok if Halloween completely disappeared. I don't like the hairy-scary, blood and guts, ghouls and ghosts. Being scared for fun is just not my thing. Shhhh don't tell.

But what I am ok with? Decorating!

Now when we have little girls that want to be fairies and princesses with glitter and pink and tutus...game on! I'll totally be ok with that!
